I am an educator at a local high school and I am doing an unit on alternative therapies in health and healing. I am looking for some practitioners to come into my classroom to help educate students on alternative health methods. This would be a wonderful opportunity for you to share your technique with a younger generation. I am looking for people who would be willing to discuss what they do, any certifications that they have, any education needed, and possibly a demonstration. These presentations would be taking place in early to mid January. These presentations would occur during the school day around 9:00-10:30. An honest Question (The great state of Maine)

Hi!

First off, I was born and raised a Mainer, and will always be one. I want to live the way that I was raised. I want to work, and be a good steward of society, and be treated fairly. This is a honest statement, and not a plea for help. No scams here, so don't offer one.

My wife and I had to move to Illinois to weather the economy, and to help family do the same. We don't have it bad, compared to others, yet we are by no means stable. I was in the high-end construction trade, and work was drying up, fast. My wife was laid off (she was a retail manager, but has many abilities, including sewing, and a degree) with no good prospects of re-employment after many months of searching. We were lucky, and had an option to help us out. We took it. We managed to find jobs, but even now they are in jeopardy. Thus comes what I am asking.

Our dreams are to just live a honest, simple life. Not in excess, not with gobs of money (frankly, our world could do without....). We would both be happy with a decent place to live, work, and have children. I would only ask for a place to do that. We are willing to prove ourselves beforehand, as well as work with you. We are more than capable of building our own home, from lumber or trees.

I am willing to work hard, and to learn new things. I know that this is far-fetched, but hey, what the heck. If you want to talk, feel free to e-mail me. I am open to many suggestions, but I only ask that you be honest, because without that, we have nothing.

a few months ago i asked a reverend at a local church to help me try and find some side jobs. she found a gentlman who had some odd jobs to be done.
its a long story but the jist of it is that i met with this disabled chairbound veteran and he was terminally ill with cancer.
he requested that i move into his home to help him, which i did.
i needed the help also at the time with housing......it was a win/win.
i assisted this man until his passing on oct 14th.
i then met a lady through a dating site that resides in the auburn area. she came to visit me and we talked, it looked as though it was another calling from above.
as we became more familiar over a short time she suggested that i come to stay with her, again, i did.
well, she is going through a divorce and may lose her home.
what i need is the following; i need work, i framed houses for 25 years but due to a stroke can no longer do the bull work im accustomed to.
i need a place to store what few belongings i own, which fits in a car.
i also need a place to hang my hat for awhile.
please, if anyone can help or suggest anything.
i'm told that something good will come to me for all i have done for people, i hope it is Gods will.
so, any leads on jobs, housing or storage would be appreciated. i can relocate and will have to be out of this home sooner than anticipated.

This "childcare" facility is only open because there have not been enough reports on them YET! From Bert screaming at everybody to Debbie the mentally challenged freak who may still work there, this place is no place for kids! They had a "center" on Longfellow street in westbrook where they kept countless kids in one tiny room of their house. I pulled my kids out less than a week upon entering there as my (then only 3) son tried to explain to me that he put glue on the table so to punish him they painted his eyelids with glue and glitter! Of course this was difficult to prove as there was no evidence left. Another person later told me that they had an excess of kids when DHS came to investigate them in another matter, so they hid kids in the basement. BERT AND ALICE have made enough money it is time they retire. Awful awful people!
