Neck straight, action is really nice, and intonation great. One pic shows guitar without pick guard....I kind of liked that look for a while. I believe this is a Warmoth-made body - but there is no neck stamp to prove it - it is a professionally cut body blank in a traditional Fender Jazz Bass style. I think I remember buying it from Warmoth in a "discontinued" sale or some kind of special deal.
The neck pocket is routed for a 3 1/8" neck....this is almost 1/2" wider than a standard 4-string, so no, it will not fit your 4-string neck.
Front routing is for 2 jazz-style pickups - there is no rear routing. You are free to customize everything else.
There is no beveling or countouring and the edges are not rounded over - you have all your options open except neck and pickup routing.
I believe it is made of ash.

OK, so these are not Musical Instruments, but what I have for sale seems to fit better here.
I approx. 140 cassette tapes that I have recorded music on. Many of these tapes were recorded on only once (from LPs) and can be easily recorded on by covering the hole where the removable tab that "protects" from recording over is. More than half are high quality such as Denon HD Hi Bias or Maxell XL and others such as FUJI, TDK and SONY. Lengths range from 60' to 100', with about half being 90'. There are also about 10 blank tapes included. The music on the tapes is about as varied as you get: blues; jazz; classical, country. Jimmy Reed, Muddy Waters, Lowell Fulson, Little Feat, NRBQ, Capt. Beefheart, Frank Zappa, Bloodwyn Pig!,Tom Waits, John Coltrane, Charlie Christian, Billie Holiday, Charles Ives, Andres Segovia. Spike Jones!
So you might be interested in these for taping purposes or for the music. If you are seriously interested, I will provide an approximate list with tape brands, lengths and some of the music on them.
$65 for them all (original price of the higher quality tapes: $4-5.00 each.)
Prefer cash in the Portland/Gorham area.

This professional level Hohner Tango VM (Musette) has 13 treble stops and, more importantly, 6 bass accompaniments such as are found on accordions costing thousands of dollars new. A catalogue that I have lists Hohner's price for this VM (Musette) as $5,295.

The accordion is presently playing very well. It has very pretty musette sounds when those treble stops are selected. The volume can fill a hall, or it can also play softly like a concertina. A clean hardshell case and a used but serviceable set of "elephant leather" accordion straps are included.

Take it for only $750. That's almost $1,000 less than a current accordion shop listing for this same model Hohner accordion. Local, in-person, try-before-you-buy, cash sale. No more shipping requests, please.
