This quintessential year-round Maine cottage is fully-renovated and is surrounded by stunningly beautiful English gardens and stone patios, with the patios and most rooms in the house enjoying lovely ocean views of the Portland shipping channel and the islands of Casco Bay.

This home is beautifully furnished and luxuriously appointed with high-end designer furnishings, high-quality new mattresses, three flat screen TVs and high-end bed linens and designer bedding.

The house features two KING-size bedrooms, both featuring Beautyrest mattresses, Samsung TVs, ceiling fans, window a/cs and beautiful ocean views. Both are outfitted with 100% Egyptian Cotton percale sheets and custom-designed bed linens. The third bedroom features a double bed and a twin bed, new mattresses and high-end nautical bedding from Restoration Hardware and peaks of Willard Beach in the winter. All bedrooms have ceiling fans and window A/C units.

The wonderfully sunny and cheerful living room and adjacent sun room feature ocean views, comfy furniture, a 40" samsung flatscreen and a Bose sound system.

The dining room features a gorgeous 92" dining table with a reclaimed wooden top and eight comfortable Pottery Barn chairs and limited ocean views.

The gourmet kitchen features a Bosch gas range and dishwasher and is very generously appointed with service for 12 dining and silverware service and service for 16 glassware, in addition to an abundance of new pots and pans, bakeware, casserole dishes and every small appliance you would expect in a generously appointed kitchen. A large stainless steel gas grill is just outside the kitchen on it's own small stone patio.

Walk-out basement offers storage space, in addition to a laundry area with an additional vanity sink and toilet, plus a washer and dryer. 2 Retro beach cruisers, 2 kayaks/paddles/life vests for guest's use included.

The stunningly beautiful English gardens and patios on this property are absolutely incredible and offer a delightful scent of roses, combined with the scent of the salty sea air. You will enjoy beautiful ocean views from the patio and memorable evenings and dinners outside, with a large patio set featuring 10 very comfortable chairs.

We also provide retro-style beach cruisers for exploring the delightful neighborhood, in addition to two kayaks and life vests for our guests to enjoy, as the water's edge is only 100 yards away.

Beautiful Willard Beach, only 100 yards away, is pet friendly (off-leash) 24/7 from October thru April and from 7-9 am and 7-9 pm in the spring/summer months, off-leash.

The ocean views from this home are magical and ever-changing, as you have views from most windows in the house of the Portland shipping channel. In the very early morning, you may catch a glimpse of the cruise ships entering the Portland harbor for the day. That is an incredible sight to behold, as they are perfectly quiet as they glide past the house at around 7:30 am on most summer and fall mornings. You will also see the lobster boats leaving the harbor for the day and passing the house on their way out to sea.

During the day, you will see all kinds of vessels passing by the house, from freighters and tug boats to schooners to sail boats and the whale-watching and other excursion boats that go in and out of Portland's harbor all day long. In the summer and early fall evenings, as the Portland cruise ship season is in full swing, with over 300 cruise ships coming to Portland, you will see them glide past the house, with all their lights on, around dinner time on most evenings. It's such a sight to see, as they take up almost the entire space between our waters' edge and Peaks Island across the channel.

This home is located in the very popular Willard Beach neighborhood of South Portland, in the most exclusive section, named Loveitts Field. The location of the home is ideal, as it's only 9 minutes to downtown Portland, 100 yards to Willard Beach, walkable (very close) to all of the gourmet food shops, bakeries and restaurants that have made the Willard Beach neighborhood the most popular neighborhood in the entire Greater Portland area. The house is also situated just 3 blocks from Cape Elizabeth, with easy access to even more beaches and coastal scenery.

The friendliness and walkability of our neighborhood and the easy access to Willard Beach has made this destination the most popular vacation destination in the entire Greater Portland area, as well as the most popular neighborhood for families to reside in. Within a short walking distance of our cottage, you will find Willard Square, home to Scratch Bakery, featured in the New York Times, Bon Appetit, and on the Food Network and ranked in the "Top 10 Bread Bakeries in the United States" and Willard Scoops Ice Cream Shoppe, plus Flip Creperie, both with a huge local following. Local residents make daily visits to Scratch for their famous handmade sourdough bagels and delectable breakfast pastries, desserts, fantastic coffee bar, breads, made-to-order sandwiches, soups, slab pizza and so much more.

Also within a short walking distance from the cottage are several restaurants and gourmet food shops, including the locally-owned but nationally award-winning Otto's Pizza, featured on the Food Network and winner of the "Best pizza out of the box" in the US and also named one of the best pizzas in the US. Also nearby is The Cookie Jar, well-known locally for having the best donuts around and fantastic sandwich breads, locally-owned and extremely popular Rosemont Market (like a teeny tiny Whole Foods) and Terra Cotta Pasta, with fabulous house made pastas, pizzas, sauces, soups, wines and more.
