Two fireplace mantles salvaged from an 1893 Victorian house in Thompson CT
Original paint. Very good condition

Made by Irving and Caston, prominent 1800's architecture manufacturers from Boston, MA, with works in the White House.
Another house mantle with build label confirming the manufacturer was salvaged and donated to Historic New England museum.

Mantle One: (first 6 pictures) has center shelf above hearth with mirror and fluted side columns and top shelf.
Mirror finish is slightly mottled.
Mantle Two: (last 4 pictures) has center hearth shelf with mirror and small fluted columns set to top shelf
Ornate raised wood carvings below shelf on facing above hearth. Mirror in very good condition.
