Quarter sawn red oak youth chair / highchair circa 1890-1910 with a comfortable cane seat (seat is intact with no broken canes). All lead paint has been carefully striped off and the chair is refinished with a durable, food-safe satin/non-glossy finish. All joints in legs and rungs are solid and chair does not wiggle. Tray swings to the back on brass pivots.
This is a nice, functional vintage chair that has been restored to a very good condition. Perfect for a farm-house or Victorian kitchen or dinning room.
Accommodates babies from when they can sit up to +/- age 5.
23.5 inches (floor to seat)
13.5 inches (seat depth front to back)
40.5 inches (floor to highest point)
