The PDA2 is a highly versatile reflux still that can be used for stripping or, when in full reflux, produce an ultra-pure product. The 50 gallon boiler is heated with two 4500 watt electric water heater heating elements. When in stripping mode, it will produce about 2 gallons of wash per hour. When in high reflux mode, it will produce about 3/4 gallon of ultra-pure product per hour. The still has two, 3" dia. X 5' high copper columns. Each column has a reflux head located at the top and can be packed with copper mesh. As with any still, licensing, registration, and adherence to local rules, regulations, and laws is the responsibility of the purchaser.
