Black Mountain Cycles La Cabra - 18" - $2,250 (North Yarmouth)

Route 115 near Route 231
bicycle type: gravel
frame size: 18"
wheel size: 29 in
bicycle frame material: steel
suspension: none (rigid)
brake type: disc (hydraulic)
handlebar type: drop
electric assist: none
condition: excellent
make / manufacturer: Black Mountain Cycles
model name / number: La Cabra
Testing the waters with this one as I'm hoping to consolidate but still enjoying the ride. This may be better suited to the XC/MTB category but fits here too I believe. Accommodates 29 x 2.4" tires (currently has 2.1" Mezcals) or 27.5 x 2.8" (HUGE clearance, might clear full 27.5 x 3 but can't confirm).

Parts include:

- Ritchey WCS Venturemax bar (will update with width once conrifmed)
- 28-hold Industry 9 Torch non-boost hubs w/ HG freehub and boostinator adaptors laced to Knight carbon 25i rims. Butted spokes, not sure of the make though.
- Sunrace 12sp cassette 10-51t
- Shimano XT 12sp rear derailleur
- SRAM GX Eagle DUB Boost crankset in 165mm with 36t chainring (can include lower tooth count if interested I have 32 tooth available)
- Will likely come with 70mm aluminum Salsa stem (not Origin 8 as pictured)
- Berry colored King NoThreadSet (1 1/8")
- Thomson Elite 125mm dropper post (frame is internally routed) actuated by Crank Bros. dropper-specific lever
- "Brifters" are Gevanelle-modified TYP Hylex. For those unfamiliar this are basically Hylex single-speed hydro levers modified to accept a Microshift thumbie 12-speed shifter (both friction and indexed shifting modes).
- Vittoria Mezcal 29x2.1"s set up tubeless. Front tire has been patched once but has had no issues holding air on singletrack or road rides.
- Brooks C17 not included but will include a spare SQ labs saddle I have upon request.
- A note on the brake calipers: the Hylex brakes come with flat mount calipers so I used adapters to mount to the IS tabs, however this requires a front rotor of 180mm. This means no shortage of stopping power but you might notice some stutter in the fork under very hard braking in situations with high traction. I would ideally just set up at 160mm front and rear but I really like the Hylexes.

I plan to keep the frame bag and pedals.

Local sale preferred but willing to ship Bikeflights at buyer's expense.
