Cannondale F400 mountain bike from 1997. This bike came stock with the Cannondale HeadShok and CAD frame. Not good or bad but a cool piece of history. This bike is not in rideable condition but could be a great recondition project for someone with bike know-how.
The Cannondale HeadShok (introduced in 1992) was one of the most radical and distinct departures from traditional bicycle suspension design. Instead of placing the suspension elements down in the fork legs below the head tube, Cannondale integrated the entire mechanism inside an oversized 1.56-inch head tube.
