This is fantastic and simple bike but it's just not getting any love here--time for it to find a new home and be ridden more frequently. As it is, I've ridden this bike less than 500 miles and probably less than 200. It is in great condition but for a few marks to the white paint job. No cracks or chips. Never crashed.
For the most part this is a stock Kona Unit 29er. Primary upgrades include an Azonic Shorty DH stem and Shimano DX clipless pedals. The original Avid mechanical disc brakes work perfectly. I put on a white riser bar that I cut down pretty narrow but I'm also including a lightly used Kona riser bar that is wider than shoulder width, as is typically spec'd.
Being a Kona Unit you can swap out the rigid P2 fork for a suspension fork with up to 100mm of travel without changing the geometry. It has sliding rear dropouts so you can get new dropouts with a hanger from Kona if you decide you want to run gears.
This is a great singletrack ripper but would also make a good winter bike with studded tires and fenders or put slicks on it and you've basically got a 29er BMX bike.
