Looking for somebody interested in purchasing a piece of Maine's history and a piece of boating history. It is a Skowhegan canvas covered wooden boat with trailer Plus the old racing canoe on top. I am willing to separate.
I had plans to restore this boat and it's trailer this winter but unfortunately life has thrown me a curveball.
I am looking for best offer.
There is a screenshot amongst the pictures of the information that I was able to find on the Skowhegan boat and canoe company.
I am unsure of the exact year of the boat. I didn't measure it, but I will and add the exact length tomorrow.
I would like it to go to someone who is dedicated to restoring this absolutely beautiful example of Maine's boating history.
