Unique cedar sailing canoe built in Vermont in the 1970's by a Swiss woodworker. This is a18' Cedar strip sailing canoe built from E M White canoe lines. Lake Champlain racing sail with Harkin hexy ratchet, and jib. Has hiking seat. mahogany leeboard and rudder. Caned seats. Canvas deck can be unzipped to use the two canoe seats. .
Rock solid into the wind, down wind exciting.
One seat has a hole in the caning. there is some separation of the fiberglass from the wood on the bottom.It has been like that for years and is water worthy. It has some age related blemishes and needs some varnish in some places, lee board was cracked and re-glued. Epoxy work and bottom paint done recently. Comes with hand trailer that makes the boat easily maneuverable.
