These are Van Tellingen Huggie salt & pepper shakers. Showing Mary hugging her little lamb. Van Tellingen along with the copyright marking is on both pieces on the back side. On the bottom it has Pat Pending. Mary has a cork stopper, and if I have to guess there may be a 2nd stopper within the piece. The lamb is missing its stopper. This is reflective in the price. These shakers were manufactured by Regal China and the designer was Ruth Van Tellingen Bendel. These date back to the 1950's and are made of ceramic.

There are no cracks or chips, and the coloring and paint are both in excellent condition. Mary stands at 4" and the lamb at 3.5".
