Beautiful things come in small packages. This is a hand painted (delftware like) creamer made in England by Ridgway, Est in 1792. The Ridgway family was one of the dynasties, manufacturing Staffordshire pottery. The English copied the Dutch using a similar design and processing method of tin glazing earthenware. Earthenware was relatively affordable and replaced the use of pewter. There are no cracks or chips. This is a gift quality piece. The creamer will hold 6 ounces.
