This listing is for a good looking and even better sounding Vintage Pioneer PL-115D Semi-Automatic Stereo Turntable with Classic Pioneer Charcoal-Over-Walnut styling that was manufactured in January of 1977. It has been cleaned, lubricated and calibrated, including all levers, cams, cables, lateral spindle bushing as well as the thrust bearing. The critical internal suspension was also properly adjusted. Included is a copy of the Original Instruction Manual.

Mounted to the Pioneer Headshell and connected using new wires with gold plated ends is an Audio-Technica AT82ED Dual Magnet Cartridge. It has a new stylus and the AT82ED Cartridge box with stylus brush, stylus guard, "Audio-Technica" branded screwdriver and associated paperwork come with it. The overhang is properly set to Pioneer specifications and the cartridge alignment was accurately adjusted using a turntable protractor resulting in exceptional sound quality.

The belt was replaced with a new one of the proper size and it, as well as the stylus, have fewer than four hours on them from testing. The belts which I use cost 60% more than common replacements, but for fit, function and durability they are well worth it. The dust cover is clear and free of cracks. It does have some typical scratches which could be buffed out if you chose to do so.

Since you're considering a local purchase you will be able to see, touch and hear this turntable. It's nice to know exactly what you are buying - and not pay a bundle to a shipping service for the privilege of destroying your investment in transit.
