Pair of Sansui SP 2000 floor speakers. 8 ohms, 70 watt, 4 way killer units in excellent working order. These have a total of 6 speakers each including 3 tweeters, 2 mids and one 12" bass. Have been tested and internals cleaned with care. No deterioration of cones or other components. These speakers will move furniture when cranked but the fidelity is superior throughout the volume spectrum. Known for excellent build quality these produce a Warm and articulate sound. Wont be disappointed. Manufactured in late 70s, early 80s they were Sansui's high end offering. They have passed the test of time and tho a few cosmetic bruises, (very minimal as can be seen in pics) the cabinets are finished with all Walnut hardwood veneer. And the body of the speakers are of MDF, A dense perfectly uniform wood component still preferred by manufacturers today because of its sound consistency and longevity. As a consequence they are heavy (45 lbs each). Will throw in foam speaker grills for each just as an alternative to factory grills (see pic) and easily switchable with a small single dot of Velcro. Not able to preview their sound due to my home setup being inaccessible but guaranteed to work as promised. Will refund full price if not 1000% satisfied. I sell often here and have never had an item returned, I dont sell junk. Period. Only comparable pair I could find online are on Ebay for $350 plus 150 for shipping so mine are a steal here. As a side note this pair was manufactured in Japan just before the Yen took a hit of 38% causing costs to leap for Sansui and other companies eventually resulting (around 1983) in them beginning to use cheaper components and other cost cutting measures that brought an end to the stereo wars there. This previous era saw superior build quality from most all Japanese hi fi companies. So these speakers were within the sweet spot of masterpiece manufacturing and quality that resulted in their functional usability spanning decades.
