Responsibilities

*Acts as the manager on duty in the hotel.
*Will manage shifts at the Front Desk.
*Responds to a wide variety of guest requests by accurately assessing the guest needs and requests and then adding personal recommendations and touches to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while complying with all policies.
*Manages Housekeeping.
*Interviews, trains and schedules the staff.
*Reviews and monitors schedules of staff in other departments of responsibility.
*Monitors their activities to assure that standards are being met, the staff is being supported and guest
needs are being met.
*Resolves customer complaints from all areas of the hotel, handling all guest interactions with the
highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible;
assists customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel
personnel, in-house events, directions, etc.
*Responds to all guest requests in an accurate and timely manner.
*Interaction with the guest will be in person, by phone and through mail.
*Coordinates arrivals, departures and billing requirements.
*Blocks rooms for arrivals and ensures any discrepancies are resolved.
*Reviews daily arrivals to ensure proper handling of Special Attention Guests, Return Guests, and
Groups.
*Assures that all financial and credit procedures are followed.
*Reviews all paid-outs, rebates, Petty Cash disbursements and Direct Billings.
*Takes action in all matters related to the safety, security, satisfaction and well being of hotel guests and employees when senior managers are not available.
*Responds swiftly and effectively in any hotel emergency or safety situation.
*Utilizes a variety of computer systems to check guests in and out, run daily reports and select and
block rooms for arriving guests.
*Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers
*Serves and manages daily A La Carte Champagne Breakfast included in the stay.
*Assists with turn downs service.


Candidate must have previous innkeeper/hotel manager experience in a luxury environment. Candidate must have excellent presentation and communication skills (both verbal and written), and be extremely guest-focused. Attention to detail and ability to multi-task; follow up and leadership skills required; flexible hours. Ability to ensure the smooth operation of registration and cashiering functions of the Front Desk, including review daily arrivals, VIP's, special request, group needs, room assignments.
Willing to work in a high profiled environment and able to provide very personalized service. Candidate must have excellent computer skills including word, excel, powerpoint and has worked with a reservation system.
