Afghan rug, a Felpah Bukhara Turkman. With some low pile areas at the center of the carpet, see detail photos. Professionally washed, clean. Hand-knotted, wool on wool foundation. Intricate Bukhara Turkman design with the typical elephant foot print motifs, called Gol. Some color variations, main color Burgundy red and navy blue. The Bukhara Turkman tribal inspired rugs originated in central Asia, and are distinctive for their dominating red color scheme. Size 9'-2" x 6'-4".
