A very handsome Welsummer cockerel. Born around March 28, 2025. I would keep him but my two cockerels have started fighting and because he has such large waddles, he lost (as you can see from the photos.)

This is a VERY well-mannered guy and the hens definitely like him. I'm keeping the other cockerel because he has a rose comb, which I prefer.

His name is Trouble because he was an escape artist as a chick. He knows his name. It would be a waste of a beautiful cockerel to butcher him for meat. If you are breeding, this guy would be a great addition to your flock. If you’re interested, let me know. If you’re going to eat him, please don’t tell me 😊
