A lead glazier foreman will be responsible for managing multiple installers through various glazing scopes. They will be expected to maintain productivity among installers by managing materials, daily activities, and planning in advance with office management as well as the general contractor's on site supervisors. A lead glazier foreman is expected to represent the company in a professional and respectable manner by properly coordinating and communicating issues between the field and office personnel. Additionally, a lead glazier foreman should have sufficient field experience with installing all types of commercial glazing scopes.
Layout & fabrication experience is mandatory.
Required Installation Experience for a Lead Glazier Foreman (5+ years) shall include but is not limited to:
Storefront Doors & Hardware
Required Lead Glazier Foreman Skills:
Efficiently manage crews of 2-5 installers
Read and understand plans and shop drawings
Coordinate with project managers and general management
Complete daily documentation
Properly sequence work
Layout / Field Measure
Installation of all glazing scopes
Must have own tools
Must be able to pass drug screening
Must be able to pass background check
Requested Certifications (will be provided by Jacobs Glass if not currently certified):
Scaffold / Swing Stage
OSHA 30 hour
Certifications from any of the storefront/curtain wall manufacturers
