Role Overview
We are looking for a reliable, skilled Handyman to provide essential maintenance support for our local restaurant group. This is an on-call, flexible role perfect for someone with strong general maintenance skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced, active restaurant environment. You will be responsible for a wide range of repairs and upkeep projects to ensure our dining and kitchen spaces remain safe and functional for staff and guests.
Responsibilities
General Repairs: Patching and painting walls, furniture assembly, and fixing fixtures.
Light Plumbing: Troubleshooting minor leaks and performing small repairs.
Light Electrical: Troubleshooting minor issues and replacing faulty switches or outlets.
Kitchen & Property Upkeep: Maintaining restaurant equipment, buildings, and outdoor patio furniture.
Preventative Maintenance: Performing routine inspections to identify and solve problems before they escalate.
Seasonal Tasks: Handle seasonal setups, breakdowns, and exterior maintenance.
Requirements
Experience: 2+ years of general handyman or maintenance experience (restaurant/bar experience preferred).
Skills: Practical knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, and electrical troubleshooting.
Dependability: Must be responsive, able to work independently, and comfortable with occasional urgent maintenance needs.
Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and navigate busy restaurant environments.
Resources: Reliable transportation and your own set of basic tools.
