I work with many students of ALL different ages and levels and will give your child unique, individualized attention and support. K-12 and beyond -- college and adults for ELL as well.
ABOUT ME: Compassionate and patient, enthusiastic, encouraging, gentle, and funny. I have been teaching and tutoring for almost 30 years. I hold a dual MS in Teaching and Literacy Specialization. Experienced teaching in many classrooms settings both in Maine and in other states. I have also been a school librarian, nature teacher, and creative writing teacher. For over 20 years, I have been a private tutor to K-12 students and to adults who are English Language Learners as well. Many work with me for years and recommend me to family and friends.
IN PERSON: I work primarily in the area around Bath or Damariscotta, and so meeting in the southern Midcoast area is preferred for in-person tutoring. An additional fee is added in for travel, depending on how far you want me to travel.
ONLINE: Online meetings are also an option. I've been doing online tutoring since 2017 on Skype -- now working via Zoom and Google Meet. I'm very experienced in online meetings and make it fun and engaging. I have a variety of ways of working with all kinds of students, so reach out if you'd like to discuss more.
