1938 Velocette GTP 2 cycle oil injection 250cc motorcycle. This bike has been restored and is in running condition. All fluids have been removed for storage. This is a museum piece not a bike to be ridden on the road. The oil injection system is connected to the throttle and is fed by an oil tank section of the fuel tank. Everything works. Rebuilt generator, new generator belt, new primary chain, new secondary chain, new cables, all new wiring, new battery in a Lucas box. The speedometer works as do all the lights. New tires. The bike is battery and coil ignition. It has a new coil and condenser. The correct horn works. The pipes are new but the mufflers are older. New mufflers are available for around $125 each. The seat has been slightly patched. The pillion seat is new. There is a small dent in the front fender caused by the front suspension bottoming out. This is a very rare bike. Barber Motorsports Museum has one. There is one other that I know about and that one is in rough condition. This would be an ideal candidate for a shop window. Very aesthetic.
