This YHR-664 double French horn (SN: 004993) was built in the 1980s and has been well-maintained. It is an intermediate-level horn often considered professional for its era and a predecessor to the YHR-567. Kruspe-style wrap with a medium fixed bell and a yellow brass lacquer finish.

• Yamaha HR-30C4 mouthpiece
• Like-New Protec MX316CT contoured French horn case (black) - Purchased end of 2025
• New Protec hand guard (black)
Condition:
• Good overall used condition
• Normal lacquer wear consistent with age
• A few small dents present
• Some dents previously professionally repaired/buffed
• Recently cleaned with fresh slide grease, rotor oil, and valve oil applied
• Plays smoothly and is ready to use
Great option for advancing students, college players, or anyone looking for a solid Yamaha double horn. It has served me well and I am only selling as I upgraded to a different horn.
