1964 (8) port B15-N Ampeg Portaflex bass Amp. I restored this amp back to it's former glory...no expense spared...even has the old tilt peg. Used it for a session amp in the studio. The amp was built to be a B12-N-C but you can see by the serial number that it was upgraded at the factory to a B15-N. They used an original tube sticker and altered it for S/N 000159.
NOS Blue check Tolex
NOS Black Tolex for amp tray
NOS Grill cloth
NOS Amp tray isolators
NOS Chrome and hardware replaced where required
New grounded plug
Amp rebuilt to original B15 -N specs by tube amp guru Walter Doll
Period spec Jensen replacement speaker (came with a Peavey black widow...heresy!)
Amp and cabinet matching S/N 000159
Comes with original flight case (case relined)
This is the Holy Grail of bass amps and you won't get a sweeter sounding bass amp for recording.
The lady I bought this amp from said her deceased husband used to play it in a Detroit Soul and Motown band back in the 60's.
As I am getting up there in age it's time to part with some of my vintage collection...thin the heard as they say.
