The Ampeg B-15N is an iconic, all-tube "fliptop" bass combo amplifier, considered by many to be the most recorded bass amp in history. It was first introduced in 1960, and while it evolved over the years, it is celebrated for producing a warm, fat, and character-rich tone that has defined bass sounds across numerous genres, from jazz to rock to soul. The "fliptop" design allows the amplifier head to be flipped over and secured inside the speaker cabinet for portability.
