For sale is my Kitty Hawk M1 combo amp.
This thing is an odd bird and not many of them are around.
I am not sure when it was made, but if I had to guess I would say it was the late 70s or early 80s.
It was designed and built in West Germany.
The circuit board is hand etched and the traces are all hand soldered.
Do some internet research for conspiracy theories about ripped off Boogie and Dumble circuits.
It has a switch on the underside of the chassis to go between 6L6 and EL34 tubes.
Right now there are 2 6L6s in it.
I cant tell what the preamp tubes are, but there are 4 of them
This amp has two lead channels and one clean channel.
There is spring reverb in the head.
You can switch between class A or class AB power.
Has an effects loop .
Comes with non original pedal.
Has a Celestion G12M-70 in it.
Is in good shape save some scuffs and a tear in the tolex on the left side of the amp.
Amp was just gone through by Tim Fuller and got a clean bill of health.
I have the paperwork from the checkup.
This amp sounds great and is fairly uncommon!
I am only parting with it because it never gets played.
