Hammond Organ M-100 - Popular with Jazz musicians - $750 (Orono)

When my Dad retired after a 55 year career as a transportation engineer he took up music as a hobby and found great joy in learning to play familiar tunes on the piano. Through a friend, Dad met a local music teacher who inspired him to shift over to learn those tunes on an organ keyboard instead.
After careful research, Dad purchased this Hammond Model M-100 and paired it with a Lesley speaker. He greatly enjoyed the opportunity to make his favorite music have a new and more robust sound. From his notes, I believe the purchase was made at Campbell Music Store in Washington, DC in the early 1970's
When Dad passed I brought the organ to Maine. Attached is a receipt for the servicing provided by Portland organ specialist Nick Orso in August 2014.When Nick was at the house he stayed an extra hour to play his own favorite music. He remarked afterwards that this model is a favorite instrument for Jazz musicians.
Our Hammond organ is in excellent condition. It has been well cared for and greatly enjoyed by our family. Now it is time for Dad’s Hammond to have a new home. I hope to find an individual musician, a Jazz combo, or a educational space where music students learn and perform.
