For sale is a very RARE (only 50 made for all of Japan) Factory Special Run Sherwood Green Traditional II 60s Fender Jazzmaster. Unlike standard Traditional 60s Jazzmaster models, these feature an alder body, lightly tinted maple neck with bound rosewood fretboard & dot inlays, 7.25" radius with medium jumbo frets, bone nut with 1-5/8" vintage accurate nut width, vintage style black bobbin jazzmaster pickups (wound to around 7k each), and '65 Reissue Mustang Bridge. Adding to its rarity is it’s quite light weight, especially for a Jazzmaster, weighing in at only 7.6 lbs!
It's all stock, except I swapped out the cheaper economy tuners for a high quality set of Gotoh SD91 Vintage Style Tuners (same as used on American Vintage 62 offsets and Johnny Marr Jaguar) and already has Mastery Bridge thimbles installed. Professionally setup by Totally Wired Guitars, an offset guitar specialist, in NYC for comfortable low buzz free action. Near mint (plastic still on the pickguard!) except for two tiny dings near the tummy cut. Comes with an Analog Cases hardshell case. If you don't need/want a hard case, I can provide a brand new Fender Deluxe Gig bag and knock $150 off the asking price. Easily one of the best modern production Jazzmasters I've ever played.
