This is a light thin necked, light guitar. Ibanez guitars have a reputation of being 'fast,' which I think is derived from the thickness and radius of the guitar neck. I have no scale to adequately weigh it. Compared to a Fender by heft I believe Guitar Chalk's weight of 6.6 lbs is reasonably accurate. Everything works as designed. I had it 'set up' two years ago when I first acquired it. It has required nothing else. Shipping is a cost, so local pickup is desired. It is my desire that the buyer is happy with the guitar,
