Studio Rental/Shared Workspace

Artist studio/quiet work space looking for an additional person to join 2 other artists in a sunny fifth-floor studio in the State Theater building. I use the studio as a workspace for my design job, as well as to sew and do other art. The other person who I share the space with is a graphic designer and visual artist and uses the space similarly. We are looking for one more person who would be interested in using the space in a similar way and who would be happy to co-work on occasion.

This space is not suitable for work that involves fumes or a lot of dust, such as pottery, oil painting, or anything requiring epoxy as it is not ventilated for those kinds of activities.

I am in the space M-W/T during regular office hours, and may have the occasional video call with clients. My studio mate is in much less frequently than I am, and occasionally brings her sweet terrier mix with her.

About the space: ~415sq ft studio, split into 2 areas -- a sunny workroom where studiomates have desks and a separate lounge area where there is a large shelf for supplies, cozy chaise lounge, mini-fridge, microwave, electric kettle, and shelf for any food/snacks you'd like to bring in.

Well behaved dogs are allowed in the building. My studiomate occasionally brings her small dog with her to the space, but we would love to have another dog pal in the studio, too :)

Building is accessible at all hours.

Expenses are about $175-$200/each including electricity and internet. Heat is included. The studio is very warm in the winter because of the building's enthusiastic radiators. LGBTQ+ friendly. There is an AC unit in the studio space, too. Bathrooms are down the hall.

If you're interested, please let me know the following:

1. What kind of work are you planning to do in the studio?

2. How many days/week do you think you'd be in the studio?

3. Describe your ideal co-working environment.

(Please note: I will only reply to messages that include responses to these questions so I can tell who actually read this post!)

If the post is still up, it's still available.

Thanks for looking!
