Haven's Candies is seeking Sales Associates full time and part time, to work at our retail store on 87 County Rd in Westbrook and Forest Ave store in Portland. We prefer candidates who have prior retail experience but are willing to train the right candidate. The successful applicant will report to the Store Managers. This job offers the right candidate up to 40 hours per week for full time and up to 30 hours per week for part time, Saturday availability is required, with overtime during the busy candy holidays. Some evenings may be required but our normal shift is 9-5. Retail Salesperson duties include retail sales, opening and closing including cash up, customer satisfaction, merchandising and displays, fulfilling mail orders, and doing whatever it takes to support a dynamic business. Employees are expected to know our product line in depth, which means eating candy on the job is expected! Applicants should have prior retail and cash management experience, be outgoing and customer-focused, be computer literate and have a "can do" attitude. Our business is seasonal, so you can expect to work additional hours during the major candy holidays.
