Winter proved to be a bad time of year to find an acceptable roommate, figured it's time to look again.
Note: You MUST HAVE A JOB locally, not work from home.
I have a 4 bedroom, 2 bath home. I personally use 2 of the bedrooms. Rent would be 150 a week or 600 if paid monthly. Rent includes ALL utilities. There is washer/dryer if used respectfully. Off street parking for one vehicle and never blocked by another vehicle. Dishwasher, but not for pots/pans. Kitchen is large and well equipped. Home is kept clean by cleaning up after yourself! Private room, shared use of the common areas.
I am very selective about who I will rent to. As this is owner occupied I have the legal right to be as picky as I want. That being said, I'll tell you one thing right off the bat. At home I'm a bit of a naturist. So this is and has always been a nudity friendly home! This is NOT a sexual thing, it's just that someone should feel free to walk through their own home however they choose. I'm talking trips to the bathroom, laundry room, to the kitchen to fix a snack, etc. I'm not talking about full-time, nor lounging in the living room. If this sounds perverted to you please move along to the next listing! But if this is how you would be if living alone and would consider it with a couple other like-minded guys then give it some serious thought.
I am only looking for an additional roommate that shares this philosophy. So if you are body shy or otherwise not interested in this level of comfort for yourself, then this place isn't for you.
No, this is not a "fun" house, or a place to meet new friends. It's a cool place to live, come home to after a days work! Brief small talk as we cross paths morning and night is important to maintain good communication within the home. Not looking for a hermit. Been there, done that!
What kind of roommates I am looking for:
You need to have a solid, reliable job outside of the house in the local area with scheduled hours.
Be a quality man. I'm a middle-aged, healthy, very busy working guy plus off & on gym (PF, NOT a bodybuilder!). Be a guy that's going somewhere with his life, using this opportunity as a stepping stone. I get along well with all races and sexual orientations (remember this is not about sex!). Admittedly though I do get along better with the 45 and under crowd.
Home is in a good neighborhood, large but not private yard as other homes overlooking the yard.
Not posting identifying pictures as the situation inside the home should stay private between the occupants. Neighbors, or your friends or relatives don't need to know. ALSO, keep in mind that the room DOES NOT include guest privileges for what should be obvious reasons. I personally have very limited company which is basically a buddy coming to hang out in my room watching a game, listening to music, etc.
I've had a couple great roommates recently, based on this ad. One needed a home in the area to live in for his new job until he was able to buy a house in the area so that his wife could join him. Another ended up moving to Portland for a different job offer. Neither had lived in a nude friendly home before but they both embraced it!
So if you aren't scared off introduce yourself and tell me your situation. Text or email. If you are serious and respond by email please include your actual email address (or cell #) in your text. If you don't and I take the posting down I would no longer have a method to contact you. If your response sounds like spam or you don't tell me some details about your needs I won't bother to respond. You can briefly explain your need/want for a new place to reside for instance. I don't show the place to anonymous people, I need to know that you mostly meet what I am looking for, have a legitimate non-creepy interest and are a legit person.
If you are well qualified but rent is an issue maybe you have a skill/trade that I could benefit from. Or help around the house a couple hours a week. NO, DO NOT offer sexual favors! Lowest acceptable rent would be $100.
If I no longer have a room available I will immediately take down this posting. So no need to ask that question!
