1998 Winnebago Chieftain Diesel Pusher with all the Deluxe Options and Upgraded for Dry Camping with 200 watts of Solar, large 440 Ah battery bank, and 2kw sign wave Inverter. New TV's, Home Theater sound, new tires.

Everything works, and works well.

Original Options and features:
Engine – B5.9 Turbo Electronic control, 275 HP. Engine brake; Allison MD 3060 6 speed automatic transmission with electronic controls; Bock heater; engine AC; 160A Alternator; Air brakes, Air suspension with dump control; Cruise control; tilt-telescope steering wheel; heated power mirrors; Dual 2-speed defrosting fans; leather captain chairs with lumbar support and folding armrests; 6-way power driver’s seat; Map light; Pleated, wrap-around windshield and front window shades; Sony rear view camera system with on-way audio; Roller side-window light-filtering shades; Visors; Intermittent Wipers with variable speed control; Work Station (pull-back desk) for the passenger. Upgrades and additions:
Furnishings:
Replaced the jack-knife couch with a dual-recliner. (both are available). Replaced the swivel chair that was behind the passenger seat with a folding work table. The existing folding chair can be stored there as well using the installed straps.
Audio / TV:
Removed the old analog TV’s and antenna. Installed a new digital TV antenna with “station finder” and amplifier. Replaced all dash radio speakers with Polk Audio units. Installed a Pioneer home theater receiver, with audio from the living room tv and using the amplified TV antenna. Installed Polk Audio 3-way speaker system for the home theater. Replaced the front TV with a fold-up mounted 32” LED full HD TV. Replaced the bedroom TV with a 22” LED full HD TV.
Power and Cellular:
Replaced all interior incandescent bulbs with LEDs.
Installed a cellular booster system (older 3G; but it works well).
Installed 200 W of solar panels and controller, using tilt-mounts, on the roof. Replaced the two 12v house batteries with (4) 6V Lifeline deep cycle batters providing 440 Ah of storage.
Installed a Xantrex 2000 Watt Sign wave inverter that powers all but the AC units of the RV.
Installed a Pro-Mariner 40Amp 3-stage battery charger. Installed an automatic charge-sharing combiner relay so that if desired, the engine or the solar or the shore power will charge both house and coach batteries.
Replaced both bath and kitchen plastic faucets with metal, home grade units.
Installed a rear flood light for backing and parking at night.

Major repairs / Replacements:
Replaced the rear tires with Michelin XRV tires in spring of 2018. (fronts were new in 2017). Replaced the Engine AC compressor and repaired all lines and fittings. Replaced the engine head gasket, water pump, fan, all belts and hoses. Replaced the 4 suspension air bags. Replaced the rear shocks with gas shocks. (The fronts are Bilstein units in good condition).
