House Share, Anyone? (Litchfield)

Would like to stay within 20-minute driving distance of Litchfield, since this is where I am applying for jobs in local businesses. As well, I’m a bit attached to the area since I’ve lived here for the past 6 years.
I am only on SS monies at this time, so my budget would be about $800 ($900 max) per month. With one other person (in a similar situation), together we could manage a household for about $1600 or so per month. If possible, it would be nice to be in a house in a fairly quiet country setting, or at least where there’s room for a garden.
A little information about me:
I love being outdoors, so enjoy walking my dog almost every day. I enjoy gardening, tending to the grounds, biking, swimming, reading, and just general chores around the house. I keep my living space neat and clean, but I am certainly not fastidious since I do have a dog and 2 cats.
I am not a smoker, but I am a light drinker—maybe once or twice a week at most. I don’t think I could live with someone who smokes. Just being honest. I like to socialize and entertain occasionally, but certainly don’t expect to have company on a regular basis and would respect the space of a house mate.
I am a seeker of truth, loyal, caring of others, and love a good laugh. (Yes, there’s more, but this is starting to sound like a dating profile, and that is not what I am seeking, just to be clear.)
