FIX IT to training and support OR replacement of old hard drives and upgrade to SSD or NVME depending on the age of your computer, remembering you may have an OLD WINDOWS 7 laptop or desktop still in a closet and you might not be aware it can be upgraded to run windows 10 at FAST SPEEDS.... and if you have 8th gen INTEL or newer ( circa 2019 machines and newer ) they can be upgraded all the way to run Windows 11 at super fast speeds.
Data Backup / System Cleanup - Virus removals and remember things like " I need my photos moving from my phone to the computer and maybe backing up on to DVD" ( I include FREE DVDS for the backup process as part of the overall flat rate for this service
AVERAGE prices are simply $40 an hour or $100 for 3 hours.
When doing jobs like " windows install, setup and make my computer work again" I look at what needs to be done and then agree with you on a flat rate and not hourly rate, as a lot of the install it literally " click and WAIT" so I never charge for wait times or you would be paying the price of a car haha.... so I do keep all of my rates sensible and lower price for locals.
