Under general supervision of Shift Supervisor, responsible for the safe operation and daily preventative maintenance of the assigned equipment (excavator, front-end loader; bobcat; yard tractor, etc.).
Responsibilities:
-Operate heavy equipment (excavator, front-end loader, etc.)
-Unloading of inbound vehicles, stacking, storing and feeding of C&D material
-Loading of outbound vehicles with recycled materials and residual waste
-Loading main process line in-feed conveyor and shearing bulky materials for processing.
-Management and stockpiling of all unprocessed and processed materials.
-Material transportation for processing.
-Loading main process line in-feed conveyor and shearing bulky materials for processing.
-Site maintenance and construction including ditching for erosion control and surface water collection, etc.
-Seasonal maintenance.
-Performing maintenance and light repair of company-owned or leased mobile equipment.
Qualifications:
-Minimum 2 years’ experience with Heavy Equipment Loader/Excavator.
-Must have the ability to exercise good judgment, be able to focus on detail as required by the job, as well as multitask.
-Work in a fast pace environment, construction or recycling preferred
-Mechanical background as operator – will be performing service on the equipment.
-Must be able to work Monday – Friday with some Saturday shifts
-High school diploma or equivalent
-Mechanical background a plus.
