Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in landscape maintenance, with a focus on installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems. This role is essential for ensuring that our clients' gardens and landscapes remain healthy and vibrant through effective irrigation practices.
Responsibilities
-Install, maintain, and repair various types of irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution.
-Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify issues such as leaks or malfunctions.
-Operate hand tools and power tools effectively to perform installation and maintenance tasks.
-Dig trenches for irrigation lines and other landscape features as needed.
-Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to integrate irrigation solutions into overall garden designs.
-Provide recommendations for improvements in irrigation efficiency based on observations and assessments.
-Maintain accurate records of work performed, including repairs and system upgrades.
Requirements
-Proven experience in irrigating landscapes and gardens, with a solid understanding of irrigation principles.
-Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair irrigation equipment.
-Familiarity with lawn care practices and landscape maintenance techniques.
-Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to the trade.
-Ability to dig trenches and perform physical labor as required by the job.
-Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
-Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
