A 43 year old well-respected southern Maine rigging company with some of the best customers in New England is seeking an individual interested in the construction trades who is looking for a change. Candidates for this job opportunity must possess entry level forklift operator and/or other heavy equipment operating skills and also be willing to learn a new trade of rigger/millwright, if not already involved in the rigging industry. This is a year round employment opportunity where presence is required all the while making excellent pay. Most days will be spent traveling to/from and working inside industrial facilities and machine shops. Shop Days, as we call them, are always busy with ample to do. Typical work week is Monday through Friday - home every night with an occasional Saturday, Sunday and/or overnights. This is a job for someone who likes to be challenged, problem solve, use a hands on approach, likes a change of scenery and situation every day and loves team work. Candidate will not use any cannabis products or other drugs.
Applicants must already possess:
Be age 23 or older
CDL - Class A with 2 Years Minimum Experience preferably with Landoll or Similar Trailers, Double Drops, Step Decks including Load Securement.
Excellent Clean and Safe Driving Record
Valid DOT Driver Medical Card

To use an ELD on a daily basis.
To be strong and physically fit for the job.
To be able to lift heavy objects upwards of 70-100+ pounds.
To tarp loads.
To have a willingness and flexibility to work long days.

To have good manners, be respectful and work well with others.
To live within an hour of New Gloucester, Maine.
To speak English, read, write and use a tablet to perform required job duties.
Benefits:
Pay rate based on hourly wage - 40.0 hours at straight time / overtime rate after 40.0 Typical yearly gross earnings range $111,000. - $140,000. depending on actual hours worked and job performance.
