An oldie but a goodie: a twin-sized IKEA bed with a slatted wood bottom (that rolls up for removal) and particleboard sides. It's seen steady use and has some dings (a short strip of veneer re-glued on one side, a gouge on one end--see photos), but it's solid and sleek--no boxspring needed. (Also available: twin duvet cover, pillowcases, pillows... so many pillows.)

Will deliver if you help carry it down a flight of stairs and load it into our truck!
